My computer just got upgraded to Windows 7 yesterday, and it's pretty cool so far (well, except for the lack of sound, but a sound card will fix that - and it's been an ongoing issue, not just 7). I'm still in the process of installing programs back on the computer, so far I have anti-virus, and Fire Fox installed.
But the best thing about Windows 7 so far, is they updated MS Paint a bit. It now has some fun "brushes". Not only that, but it no longer has a default file save type as jpeg. Now when I do pixel art I don't have to make sure to keep changing the file type when saving. Having it default to png is great.
I'm still working on unpacking, and stepping over boxes with stuff for my computer area. And I'm getting ready for National Novel Writing Month (nanowrimo, or nano). So ya, busy busy. I do have a few new necklaces I've made, which I need to photograph yet. Speaking of necklaces, Softflex beading wire is awesome. I got one of their "trios" packs, and it's nice to work with. So flexible, and the coating on it is a bit softer than the Beadalon I've been using. It feels more like a cord than nylon coated steel wires.
